Sometimes we read something and we stop and take a moment because it resonates so deeply.
Those moments, while reading, reaffirm that we’ve connected with another human being on a deeper level.
The books, articles or quotes that you share with others are the ones that have the power to change your life.
This is why I write.
This is why I read.
And this is why I read about writing!
As I discover new books on writing, I continue my learning journey and I’m inspired to keep on going.
Writing Down the Bones Freeing the Writer Within by Natalie Goldberg is one such book. And it has a foreword written by Julia Cameron, the author of book I teach my Intro to Writing Class. That is why I’m highly recommending it- well, that and the fact that I’m only a few pages through and have already highlighted three passages!
I am already learning so much! Such is the journey of life that the learning never ends. I’m so grateful that Julia Cameron’s book, The Artist’s Way, reminds me to enjoy the process and not just the outcome.
