Part 1

Chapter 1

Today I’d like to introduce my first chapter to you. It covers how my life changed after 9/11, how I came to practice Islam more seriously and how my identity has helped shaped my faith, and ultimately, my relationship with Allah.

I kickstart this short and snappy audio series with the intention of wanting to reach as many of you as possible with the news that my book will be out on Jan 1st 2020.

I wish to shout this from the rooftops, not only because I’m absolutely mind blown that I’ve managed to pull this off, (although that I am!!) but because I’d like you to see that there’s a formula to get through life.

No it doesn’t demand perfection.

No it doesn’t ask for the impossible.

Yes it does bring with it the realisation that you’re not alone.

And I need to share this with you, because I’m sure there are many of you out there who need to hear it.

This life isn’t everything.

It isn’t everything it’s cracked up to be either.

We, as Muslims, believe that the game of life doesn’t end in this world.

And I hope my words remind you of this. I hope they bring you peace and solace in your heart.

I hope you invest time into travelling this journey of finding peace through prayer and love with me.

Because without readers, I wouldn’t be writing.

And for that, I’m truly grateful!
